Piseth

It is very wonderful time me to write this personal story to you at this time. My name is Piseth. I am 19 years old. I am studying grade 12 at High School. I ride my old bike to school every day. It takes about an hour. I am living with my parents in Ksach Poy Village. I am a son in farmer family. We live in countryside and work hard in our small fields.

I need help because my parents are getting older and their energy becomes weaker and weaker. They seem to have not enough ability to support all my relevant needs for my studying as well as the other things that I need to do or to use for my learning. I am afraid that it will be impossible for me to continue my studying next year, because I finish my high school and have examination this year. That will be very a big opportunity for me if I can get your support for my studying.

My community is similar to the others in countryside. Most people do not have enough knowledge so they cannot walk out from poverty. Especially, they do not know what is important about politics and democratic system clearly yet, so they do not take care about it. It is very dangerous for country that has a little human resource and people do not know their positions.

I always think that one day I will do a lot of things to my country so I want to be a politician. Politicians can change people’s idea and the way people live and work. If I am a politician, I can develop my country to be better and better. My hope is that my dream will come true. According to current situation, however, I cannot achieve my goal without your help.
